This beetroot relish is a great little beetroot recipe to assist boosting your liver. Beetroot helps filter the blood whilst lemon juice gives the liver a great vitamin C boost and contains citric acid which helps the liver detoxify. Include it in your diet on a regular basis to get maximum benefit. Raw beetroot is used for this recipe, as well as using it for this it can also be enjoyed roasted.

Ingredients

1 fresh beetroot

4 tbsps olive oil

1 tsp garlic salt

Sprinkle of black pepper

½ lemon’s juice squeezed

Preparation

  1. Top and tail the beetroot, peel and then grate into a dish.
